Performance analysis of IRS‐aided cooperative NOMA‐MEC system

In this paper, an intelligent reflecting surface (IRS) assisted cooperative non-orthogonal multiple access and mobile edge computing (NOMA-MEC) system is proposed, where a base station sends signals to users through the virtue of IRS. When direct links between user are blocked, offloading tasks will be refracted near-end IRS forwarded remote user, equipped with MEC server working at full duplex or half mode. To evaluate potential performance aided NOMA-MEC, new closed-form expressions outage probability deduced for pair users. The asymptotic provided in high signal-to-noise ratio regime. Simulation results presented substantiate analyses demonstrate that: (i) behaviors IRS-aided NOMA-MEC systems superior that without OMA-MEC; (ii) As value parameter Q increases, capable achieving enhanced performance; (iii) By comparing OMA-MEC, energy efficiency throughput has obvious advantages delay-limited transmission
